“My first feeling upon boarding the elevated train was one of excitement and novelty, along with joy and enthusiasm at being among the first to experience this new train station,” Pham Tu (born in 1994, from Thai Binh) shared with a Travellive reporter.
After a week of operation, the tram line quickly became a new entertainment and experience destination for people in the capital city.


For the first three months, trains ran regularly every 10 minutes, from 5:30 AM to 10:00 PM, offering passengers a convenient and fast travel experience. The Nhon - Hanoi Station metro line has a total length of over 12 km, including 8 elevated stations and 4 underground stations.
The elevated section of the Nhon - Hanoi Station metro line passes through four districts: Bac Tu Liem, Nam Tu Liem, Cau Giay, and Dong Da. This is a high-traffic artery, frequently experiencing congestion, and many intersections are considered traffic "black spots".

The metro ticket system offers a wide variety of fares, from 24,000 VND for daily trips to 200,000 VND for monthly passes and special student discounts of only 100,000 VND. All tickets are conveniently designed as magnetic cards. With a daily pass, you can travel on the metro line an unlimited number of times a day. Monthly passes offer greater savings for frequent users. During the first 15 days of the trial run, the elevated section of the Nhon - Hanoi Station metro line will offer free admission for visitors to explore and experience.
