Throughout the journey, delegates will have the opportunity to admire the streets of the capital city from above. With a commentary system in 10 languages (Vietnamese, English, French, etc.) based on GPS, featuring information about historical landmarks and streets along the route, passengers will have the chance to learn about the history and culture of Hanoi, the thousand-year-old capital.
From Monday to Friday, buses depart from Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square (opposite 7 Dinh Tien Hoang Street), with a frequency of one bus every 60 minutes. On Saturdays and Sundays, buses depart from the Grand Theatre, with a frequency of one bus every 60 minutes. The free trial service will last until the end of May 2022, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.

Currently, two companies operate the double-decker tourist bus route. Therefore, the free buses provided by the Organizing Committee are identifiable by their red color and the name "Hanoi City Tour," with the SEA Games logo displayed on the front windshield, and the name and logo of Transerco along with the words "Bus serving Sea Games 31" in Vietnamese and "Official bus tour for Sea Games 31" in English on the side of the bus.
This is an activity organized by Hanoi city to promote the 31st Southeast Asian Games; it is also an opportunity to promote and introduce the capital's tourism to international friends.
