From June 3rd to June 5th, the cultural, tourism, and sports program "Nha Trang - Welcoming Summer 2022" officially opened. The event included activities such as: the Khanh Hoa folk culture program "Magical Night of Colors," and the "Sea Colors" fashion show.
In addition, Khanh Hoa province also organizes art programs such as "Nha Trang - Brilliant Colors" and the Ocean Holic Nha Trang 2022 music festival. During this time, the coastal city will set up impressive and outstanding decorations to serve residents and tourists in taking beautiful souvenir photos.
Tourists explore the culture, lifestyle, and cuisine of Nha Trang.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, stated that the series of beach tourism events in Nha Trang in 2022 is a special invitation to all tourists.
"Tourists can not only admire the scenic landscapes, artistic monuments, and cultural characteristics, but also immerse themselves in the unique sea water and diverse local cuisine," Mr. Ha shared.
On the other hand, from June 16th to June 19th, Khanh Hoa province will host the Miss Vietnam Beach Tourism pageant, featuring many famous beauties as ambassadors and members of the judging panel. Nha Trang city will also organize an exhibition on "Characteristic Cultures of Ethnic Minorities in the South Central and Central Highlands Regions". Notably, a coffee festival and a beverage and culinary competition will take place during this period.
In terms of sports, the Provincial People's Committee organizes national football and beach sepak takraw championships, as well as a large-scale running event with up to 10,000 participants. In addition, summer events include a series of activities and events for the September 2nd holiday themed "Nha Trang - Autumn Returns," comprising 11 different activities and events.
The beautiful Nha Trang beach will be the venue for many sporting events.
Mr. Le Huu Hoang, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, said that tourism is one of the priorities for recovery and development promotion in the province.
"The series of beach tourism events is considered one of the solutions to restore and promote tourism activities, attracting tourists to Khanh Hoa province. The program includes more than 120 activities built into a series of events, taking place at 5 different times," Mr. Le Huu Hoang shared.
