21/04/2020

Following the government's directive to implement social distancing until April 22nd, some provinces and cities across the country have allowed certain business activities to reopen, but with mandatory regulations to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Specifically, on April 16th, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province (classified as a low-risk area for Covid-19) instructed districts and the cities of Da Lat and Bao Loc to continue implementing the peak period of Covid-19 prevention and control. Hotels and restaurants in the province, mostly in Da Lat, are allowed to reopen, but are not permitted to serve more than 10 people at a time. Tourist accommodation establishments wishing to receive guests must register with the local authorities, and each room can accommodate a maximum of 2 people. Other services remain temporarily suspended, such as: nightclubs, bars, karaoke venues, cinemas, tea rooms; tourist attractions, historical and cultural sites, scenic spots; night markets, etc.

Travel from Da Lat City in particular and Lam Dong province in general to provinces classified as high-risk or low-risk remains restricted. Accordingly, only 50% of public transport services will be restored, including contracted passenger vehicles, and each vehicle is limited to a maximum of 20 passengers (maintaining safe distance between passengers).

Activities such as beach bathing, karaoke, massage parlors, tea rooms, cinemas, and spas were also closed.
