Located approximately 10 km from Quy Nhon city, the ExploraScience Center is a showcase and exhibition area for humanity's scientific achievements. The center also organizes tours and hands-on experiences with scientific experiments. Built on a 4-hectare site, the center comprises two main components: the main building and the public astronomical observatory.
Notably, the exhibition rooms are designed in a concentric pattern. The planetarium has a diameter of 12 meters. The room is decorated like a movie theater, with an arched dome creating the illusion of a starry night sky. The Rennes Science Museum collaborates with the center to screen visually engaging films on a wide range of scientific topics.

From mid-2018 to the present, the center has welcomed over 15,000 visitors. More than 100 models have been completed, with diverse content corresponding to the themes in the exhibition rooms, serving the process of learning scientific knowledge.

The main building houses seven exhibition rooms with various themes. Specifically, the Earth and Natural Resources Room presents topics such as material cycles, ecosystems, the impact of waste on environmental pollution, and the consequences of deforestation.

Next, the Play-and-Learn room is equipped with game programs such as recreating a cube from separate blocks of different shapes, figuring out how to navigate lines on a drawing without repeating yourself, exploring symmetry and antisymmetry, and more.

The "Why Is It Like That?" room displays numerous models exhibiting scientific experiments revolving around various themes: physics, chemistry, engineering, life sciences, and environmental science.

Mr. Nam, an office worker residing in Quy Nhon, believes that the center is a beneficial place that helps young children access science from a very early age.
"ExploraScience Center brings science into interactive games, which helps children learn while having fun. Every weekend I bring my little ones there to play," Nam shared.

"The models and games here are so interesting. I could spend the whole day here without getting bored," My said with a smile as she volunteered to try the electrostatic experiment. She showed no fear, touching the charged sphere and making her hair stand on end. My smiled with delight, much to the surprise of the audience below.

In particular, the high-power Tesla coil model, designed and manufactured by experts at the center, ensures that visitors can see the electrical sparks firsthand. In addition, visitors can experience the sensation of stepping into a Faraday cage, being struck by lightning without suffering any harm.

Currently, the ExploraScience center is open to pre-registered visitors. For group bookings (30-50 people), tours are scheduled from Tuesday to Sunday. Individual visitors are scheduled on Wednesday and Sunday afternoons, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. To book a tour, please contact 02562478999, extension 1, during business hours.
