Traveling by airplane is probably nothing new to us. Passengers traveling by plane are required to comply with strict regulations set by the aviation authority and the airline to ensure the safety of their journey.
According to Circular 13/2019 of the Ministry of Transport, recording audio and video in restricted areas or at aviation security checkpoints, or in the workplaces of state management agencies at airports, requires written permission from the managing unit.
Filming or photography in restricted areas or at airport security checkpoints that do not fall under the scope of state secrets requires written permission from the managing unit.
Taking photos in prohibited areas, especially in restricted or marked zones at airports, is not only a violation of security regulations but can also pose aviation safety risks. Therefore, according to regulations, passengers engaging in this behavior may be fined between 1,000,000 and 10,000,000 VND.
This disciplinary measure aims to warn against and deter violations, ensuring safety and order at the airport. The implementation of this regulation also underscores the crucial role of adhering to aviation safety rules, ensuring security, and protecting the rights of passengers and airport staff.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has instructed airports to promptly detect, prevent, and handle any unauthorized recording or filming within restricted areas under their management.
This policy is established to ensure aviation security and to guarantee that all activities within restricted areas comply with the law. Improper recording or filming is not only a violation of the law but can also pose risks to aviation security and safety.
Through the implementation of these measures, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam hopes to ensure aviation security and safety at airports nationwide, while creating a safe and secure working and travel environment for everyone.
