With the approval of Vietnam Television (VTV) and in collaboration with the national digital television platform VTVgo, CGV ICECON cinemas will broadcast live the entire program commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd. This marks the first time a major national event has been broadcast live on the big screen, offering people nationwide a special, complete, and emotional experience.
This live television program was not simply a broadcast, but a meaningful community event, transforming the cinema into a public space where millions of people could come together to share in the heroic spirit of the nation.
People were able to watch the A80 parade and march live and for free at the cinema.
The entire ceremony will be presented authentically and vividly, including the solemn official ceremony, the large-scale parade and march at Ba Dinh Square, and spectacular welcoming artistic performances. Every moment, from the majesty of the marching contingents to the sophistication of the military equipment, will be vividly recreated thanks to CGV's high-quality image and sound technology.
With the goal of spreading patriotism and national pride to a wide audience, especially those unable to travel to Hanoi in person, CGV has planned to broadcast this event at many key cinemas nationwide. Major cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hai Phong, and Can Tho are all on the list of screening locations, ensuring that all citizens have the opportunity to enjoy the sacred and solemn atmosphere of the holiday.
This activity is entirely non-profit, with free admission for all attendees. This is not only a special gift from CGV to the public but also a strong affirmation of the company's commitment to supporting the country's cultural and social events. By leveraging its existing modern infrastructure, CGV has transformed watching a televised event into a true cinematic experience, allowing viewers to better appreciate the solemnity and grandeur of National Day.
To ensure the best broadcast quality, CGV's technical team meticulously prepared transmission solutions, guaranteeing stability and continuity. Optimizing image and sound quality was also a top priority, aiming to provide viewers with the most authentic experience, as if they were actually present at Ba Dinh Square.
The event commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd is scheduled to take place at 6:30 AM on September 2nd, 2025, at Ba Dinh Square and the central streets of the capital city.
