Within the framework of the contest "Miss Vietnam Tourism 2024", "Miss Northwest Tourism - Sa Pa 2023" is the first contest organized on a large and professional scale to honor the beauty of the soul, personality, physical strength and intelligence of girls in the Northwest region. Searching for outstanding faces, fully converging talent, beauty, kindness and national spirit to be worthy of becoming ambassadors of Northwest tourism.
The final round of the "Miss Northwest Tourism - Sa Pa 2023" contest with the theme "Beauty of the Highlands" with the participation of 28 beauties took place on the evening of July 28 in Sa Pa town, Lao Cai. This is an activity in a series of events towards the 120th anniversary of Sa Pa tourism.
Mr. Duong Duc Huy, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Miss Vietnam Tourism 2022 - Luong Ky Duyen and representatives of the Organizing Committee presented flowers and crowned Miss Northwest Tourism - Sa Pa 2023.
At the final night, the contestants went through the following rounds: traditional ao dai performance, national costume performance, swimsuit performance, and behavior. Beauty Tran Huyen Anh (SBD 247) surpassed 27 contestants to be crowned Miss Northwest Tourism - Sa Pa 2023, 1st runner-up was Nguyen Bach Van (SBD 825), 2nd runner-up was Nguyen Khanh Linh (SBD 412).
The Top 3 crowned Miss Northwest Tourism - Sa Pa 2023 were selected directly to the final round of Miss Vietnam Tourism 2024, to continue promoting and introducing the image of the country along with the cultural beauty, national identity, and people of the Northwest to the domestic and international communities.
