The Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival 2024 is an annual cultural and tourism event and this year the city has identified it as one of the special events to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024). The Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival tells stories about the heroic history of the Capital throughout its 70-year journey with a variety of activities taking place from the beginning of August organized by the Hanoi Department of Tourism, the City Women's Union, the Hanoi Youth Union and related units. The festival takes place from October 4 to 6 at the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center.

Through a series of events taking place to contribute to honoring and preserving the unique cultural beauty of the traditional Ao Dai of the Vietnamese people; making Ao Dai an impressive souvenir gift for international tourists when coming to Vietnam; a source of creative inspiration for designers, an opportunity to experience and exchange for students in the design sector of schools in the city; creating opportunities for exchange, cooperation, and signing of agreements for mutual development between Hanoi enterprises and domestic and international enterprises; contributing to promoting Hanoi tourism as a "Safe - friendly - quality - attractive destination" for domestic tourists and international friends every time Hanoi Autumn comes.
Designers introduce Ao Dai designs that will be performed at the 2024 Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival
The main program will take place from October 4 to 6 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel relic site - Hanoi with a series of attractive activities within the framework of this year's Festival such as: The opening program with the theme "Quintessence of Ao Dai" will recreate a part of the image of the capital Hanoi 70 years of history in which Ao Dai is the central image; the comprehensive art program of folk dance and Ao Dai Carnival "Capital Women Integrate and Develop" is a large-scale, attractive performance and parade; the art program "Ao Dai Night" has the participation of 70 designers from the three regions of North - Central - South.
During the 2024 Hanoi Ao Dai Tourism Festival, the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center will arrange about 80 booths to promote, display and introduce Ao Dai products and accessories from famous designers and Ao Dai brands from the three regions of the North - Central - South. The Ao Dai Carnival will take place on October 5 and parade along the route from Doan Mon Square, Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center - Hoang Dieu - Hoang Van Thu - Doc Lap - Thang Long Imperial Citadel.

The Ha Thanh culinary space introduces light dishes imbued with the Ha Thanh culture and will be an interesting stopover and an attractive experience for tourists and people from all over the country to visit the festival.
