Madagascar, officially the Republic of Madagascar, is an island country located off the southeast coast of Africa in the Indian Ocean. Beauty that captivates many tourists
According to the Harvard Museums of Science and Culture, Madagascar separated from mainland Africa more than 100 million years ago, and its flora and fauna evolved independently from the rest of the planet. Nearly 80% of Madagascar's species exist nowhere else on Earth, earning the island nation the nickname "the 8th continent." Explore Madagascar's three national parks and you can find lemurs, leaf-tailed moss geckos, baobabs, and many other endemic species.
