Hue City Green Park Center relies on the effectiveness of waiting stations and water supply machines, thereby advising Hue City to proactively invest and deploy expanded operations in the area. The project aims to provide tourists and residents of the Ancient Capital of Hue with amenities when visiting tourist destinations such as Thien Mu Pagoda, Bao Vinh Ancient Town, Crescent Bridge - Ben Me, Vong Canh Hill and Sinh Village Wrestling Arena.
The water system at the water supply stations at the above tourist spots meets the ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system, certified to comply with TCVN 11978: 2017 standards, ensuring safety and hygiene quality with a set of 5 filter cores ensuring safety and hygiene quality, including the 300G RO filter core capable of removing over 99% of amoeba bacteria, arsenic, heavy metals, viruses, bacteria and other impurities, producing a water source that ensures purity.
Many free water dispensers are deployed throughout the famous tourist spots of the ancient capital.
The above free water supply locations are put into operation to build the habit of people and tourists in reducing the use of disposable plastic bottles, always carrying personal water bottles to refill water, contributing to saving resources, developing sustainable tourism and reducing plastic generation and pollution in Hue City.
Currently, Hue City is implementing many solutions to reduce plastic waste in tourism activities in the area, thereby raising the responsibility of each resident and tourist in protecting the environment, aiming for a plastic-free city in the future.
Environmental protection is the central task of this campaign.
The operation process has received a lot of response from tourists, bringing positive results in building Hue tourism image, especially in reducing plastic in the tourism sector.
Along with the deployment of waiting and water supply stations at tourist attractions from 2023 and now at tourist attractions and community spaces in Hue City, it is hoped that the green and civilized lifestyle will spread to local people, accompanying the local government in building a green, clean and bright Hue city.
Along with that, Hue strives to reduce plastic waste as much as possible.
At the waiting and water supply stations, the project "Hue - Plastic-reducing City in Central Vietnam", Hue City People's Committee and Hue Monuments Conservation Center also integrated propaganda information on the implementation of the Code of Conduct for Plastic Reduction to residents and tourists.
On this occasion, the project also donated disposable plastic replacement items to the Tofu Selling Group in the Thien Mu Pagoda area to serve tourists safely and in an environmentally friendly manner.
The project hopes that the waiting stations and free water points will be a driving force for Hue people to gradually form the habit of reducing single-use plastic, improving the experience of tourists when visiting tourist attractions. Together, we will develop into a sustainable green living community to keep Hue City green.
