On the morning of September 26, the Kien Giang Inland Waterways Port Authority reported that due to bad weather, the Kien Giang sea area had gusts of level 7 and level 8; offshore waves were about 2 meters high, so ferries and speedboats from Rach Gia City and Ha Tien City to Phu Quoc City; and Rach Gia City to Nam Du were temporarily suspended.
The high-speed ferry route from Rach Gia City to Hon Son (Kien Hai District) is still operating normally to serve passengers to the island.

According to the reporter's records, at 8am, at Rach Gia City wharf, tourists turned their cars around to return home, while people carried goods such as fruits, cakes, rice, etc. to wait for the train to run again.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa in Vinh Thanh Ward (Rach Gia) said that her son's family in Nam Du has a small business. Today, she bought fruits, moon cakes, rice and some other necessities to send to the island for her son to sell.
"Due to bad weather, the train stopped running, so I hired a car to take my stuff home to Rach Gia. I hope the train runs again tomorrow because this fruit will spoil if left for too long," said Ms. Hoa.
According to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Da - Director of Kien Giang Inland Waterways Port Authority, the unit will continuously update the weather situation. If the weather is good, they will notify the ship to run again to serve passengers and people.
