Specifically, the ticket price for the elderly has doubled from 60,000 VND to 120,000 VND/person; Tickets for children from 1 - 1.3m have increased from 60,000 VND to 120,000 VND; Tickets for adults over 1.3m have increased from 120,000 VND to 250,000 VND/person; Tickets for children under 1m are free as before. This ticket price includes entrance tickets to Tam Coc - Bich Dong and boat tickets.
This notice notes: The current boat fare is 150,000 VND/trip, applied to 1 boat carrying 4 Vietnamese passengers and 1 boat carrying 2 foreign passengers.
The reason for the ticket price increase is to improve service quality, invest in and repair infrastructure, tourism environment and landscape, etc.
Previously, in early July, Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area suddenly announced that it would temporarily stop receiving visitors.

According to the document sent to Ninh Binh Department of Tourism by Xuan Truong Construction Enterprise - the unit operating tourism activities at Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area, it stated: To ensure better service for tourists in the coming time, the Management Board of Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area will carry out activities to restore the landscape and preserve the value of the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex Heritage according to the management plan. At the same time, it will arrange, train and improve the skills of welcoming guests for boatmen at Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area.
