Xi Nghiep is a cafe - pub with the breath of "subsidy period", but not repeating old memories but recreating the blend of culture and art to bring visitors a special experience. Quan Xi Nghiep is located on a small street corner, hidden from the hustle and bustle.
Mr. Linh shared: “More than ten years ago, I started building the shop with a capital of 40 million VND. At that time, I liked to recycle materials, so at first I used decorative items such as student desks and chairs or bricks bought from the old school. I also like to do everything myself, if I am too busy, I will instruct others to do it for me, for example, these walls are painted by myself or this piano is also my own design.” Not only are they decorative items, they are also symbols of Mr. Linh's creativity and passion, creating a unique highlight in the space of the shop.
A space reminiscent of ancient times
Over the years, Mr. Linh has gradually transformed the Enterprise into a cozy and intimate art space, preserving the rustic features of the early days but still having its own character. The shop is designed in a minimalist style, with bare brick walls, worn-out wooden tables and chairs and typical decorative details, naturally reminiscent of the subsidy period. Inside the shop, customers can find many works of art hanging on the walls, all created by Mr. Linh himself or his artist friends. The paintings, in addition to decoration, also carry the stories, emotions and ideas of the authors.

The bar of Xi Nghiep is also a unique highlight, designed in a rustic, simple but still sophisticated way. Wines and drinks are neatly displayed, with soft yellow lights shining down. "I think that during the day, Xi Nghiep is an ideal place for people to relax, immerse themselves in a nostalgic space and enjoy a cup of coffee. When night falls, the shop becomes an intimate place for friends to gather together, chat openly with the bartender in a cozy space, eliminating all distances," said Mr. Linh.
