The VIETNAMCOLOR project kicks off with the exhibition “GOING & COMING BACK, GOING,” featuring a selection of bold artworks and applied designs that reflect individual flavors and colors. The artists share their unique perspectives on life through their work.
Featuring nearly 50 works of painting, ceramics, fashion design, graphic art, installation art, and photography from 9 artists: Nguyen Quoc Huy, Tran Nam Tuoc, Pham Tuan Ngoc, HuongColor, Trinh Bich Thuy, Pham Ngoc Anh, Doan Anh Thu, Rejane, along with 2 brands, The Dan and Comay Craft.

The project chose to launch in Hanoi during the beautiful transitional season, inviting distinguished guests to enjoy a "universe of creative beauty." This is a meaningful journey of "GOING & COMING BACK, GOING" in Hanoi's autumn weather, meeting and listening to the thoughts and feelings of creative souls and exploring the relationship between truth and beauty, love, gratitude, the finite and the infinite.
Come to "GO & COME BACK, GO" to "paint your own colors, we are the Colors of Vietnam." When artists choose their materials, they are captivated by the surface of paper, canvas, clay, fabric, wood, paint, or any texture that evokes emotion for creation. Viewers take a deep breath, close their eyes, listen intuitively, then open their eyes to appreciate the colors, shapes, forms, the charm of the materials, the talent of the artist, and harmonize to create the creative story. From the moment you begin to touch, you will understand and then love; this is invaluable for each person's journey of discovering art with "GO & COME BACK, GO."

Established in 2021, the VIETNAMCOLOR project – founded by HuongColor – positions itself as a representative and meeting point for artists and designers, a place for exchanging ideas, organizing exhibitions, installations, and modern creative spaces. It's a place where viewers can enjoy the rhythm of traditional art within the contemporary flow of Vietnamese art, design, and applied arts.
The designs and artworks are exchanged and introduced by VIETNAMCOLOR and its partners for private collections, homes, public buildings, and museums. The VIETNAMCOLOR project aims to preserve folk aesthetic values and contribute to building the artistic and cultural heritage of Vietnam.
The art and design exhibition “GOING & COMING BACK, GOING” will be held at Indochine House Hanoi (32A Nha Chung, Hoan Kiem District) from November 1-5, 2024.
