Mr. Nguyen Thanh Thanh, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Long An province, said that for this second event, the province will organize many cultural and sports events, trade fairs, and spectacular entertainment activities throughout to serve the people. "For example, the opening ceremony with the theme 'Aspiration of the Vam River' will feature a stage combining theatrical performances with LED screen special effects, high-tech lighting, and especially, about 650 drones will perform a light art show," Mr. Thanh shared.
This also presents an opportunity to seek partners, organize investment promotion activities in tourism, trade, and industry; awaken the province's rich potential; exchange and link with several localities domestically and internationally, thereby expanding cultural exchange, spreading the values of traditional culture and local cultural characteristics, contributing to the protection and promotion of national cultural heritage in the cause of construction and development.
The 2nd Long An Provincial Culture, Sports, and Tourism Week in 2024, themed "Long An - Aspiration of the Vam River," is expected to take place from November 28th to December 4th.
The 2nd Long An Province Culture - Sports - Tourism Week will feature 11 official programs. Among them, the opening ceremony stands out, showcasing a variety of art forms such as theatrical performances, musical scenes, and interactive acts combining actors with LED screen special effects, high-tech lighting, and a sky light show using drones.
Particularly impressive during the Long An Province Culture, Sports, and Tourism Week 2024 were the collaborative activities with South Korea. Not only is South Korea a key investment partner, but it also brings a fresh cultural breeze to the province. The highlight of the program is the Hite Jinro Festival 2024, featuring many famous Korean music groups. This event promises to attract a large number of young people, creating a vibrant cultural exchange space and further strengthening the friendship between the two countries.
The event was held with the aim of promoting the local image and tourism values.
The event also includes a Long An tourism experience space held at tourist areas and attractions in the province such as Phuoc Loc Tho Ancient Village, Tan Lap Floating Village Ecotourism Area, Dong Thap Muoi Endless Fields - Medicinal Herbs Tourist Area; the "Shining Student Talent" competition; and the Long An Investment Promotion Conference 2024…
The 2nd Long An Province Culture - Sports - Tourism Week 2024 will showcase attractive tourism products, distinctive cuisine, and quality tourism services that connect the unique cultural values of Long An province with the cultural beauty, potential, and strengths of participating Korean localities, alongside cultural and artistic activities; sports competitions; and music festivals.
