According to the announcement of results from UNWTO, in 2023, 260 tourist villages from 60 countries around the world participated in the Best Tourist Village Award of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), with 4 tourist villages participating in Vietnam. Of which, the Tan Hoa Weather Adaptive Tourist Village model of Quang Binh province is the only village in Vietnam voted by UNWTO out of a total of 54 villages in the world awarded this year.
