Tan Hoa Tourist Village was awarded the title of Best Tourism Village by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in 2023.
In addition to developing tourism products adapted to weather conditions, this will also be an effective linkage model between the state, businesses, and the community. Businesses will support marketing and sales while the community creates sustainable value to develop together, gradually improving and diversifying services and experiences in Tan Hoa to meet the diverse needs of domestic and international tourists.
Focusing investment resources to help Tan Hoa Tourist Village gradually develop into a model of weather-adaptive tourism, not only in Vietnam but also as an impressive tourist village model in Southeast Asia.

According to the results announced by UNWTO, in 2023, 260 tourist villages from 60 countries worldwide participated in the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Best Tourist Village Award, with 4 Vietnamese villages participating. Among them, the Tan Hoa Weather-Adaptive Tourist Village model in Quang Binh province was the only Vietnamese village selected by UNWTO out of a total of 54 villages worldwide that received the award this year.
