On the evening of April 19th, the magnificent square in front of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee headquarters became a vibrant cultural hub, where thousands of hearts beat as one to witness the impressive opening ceremony of a series of art, sports, and technology activities themed "The Colors of Ho Chi Minh City." This special event marked an exciting start to a festive season, commemorating a momentous historical milestone – the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025).

Opening the dazzling evening was a creative international 3D mapping performance, showcasing the talent and artistry of three teams from countries renowned for their lighting technology: France, Belgium, and Singapore. Each team presented a unique storytelling style against a backdrop of magnificent architecture. From familiar cultural symbols and groundbreaking technological advancements to fresh, contemporary perspectives on a dynamic and modern Ho Chi Minh City, everything was vividly and surprisingly recreated.

However, the most poignant and deeply impressive moment of the opening night was undoubtedly the proud performance by the host team, Vietnam. The Vietsoftpro team from Vietnam presented a performance themed "Vietnam in My Heart," showcasing the beauty of Vietnam's land and people, as well as the country's significant historical milestones.

The program opened with a spectacular combination of 3D mapping technology and orchestral and choral music in the work "Vietnam in My Heart".


Images symbolizing the diverse beauty of Vietnam, the S-shaped land of Vietnam, unfolded one after another: from the ancient charm of Hanoi, the serene atmosphere of Hue, the peacefulness of Hoi An, the vibrant life of Da Nang, to the splendor of Ho Chi Minh City. All were vividly and colorfully portrayed, taking viewers on an emotional journey through each region and its unique cultural heritage. In particular, the image of the proudly flying red flag with a yellow star, the graceful traditional conical hat, and the friendly greeting "Hello Vietnam" to international friends touched the hearts of thousands of viewers.
