In 1992, the Oktoberfest festival was first introduced to the social events series in Vietnam by the German business community and has become one of the most anticipated events, welcoming over 9,000 foreign and local visitors over 6 nights in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
The event was co-organized by the German Business Association in Vietnam (GBA), the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (GIC/AHK Vietnam), Nikko Saigon Hotel and JW Marriott Hanoi Hotel, under the patronage of the German Embassy in Hanoi and the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the event will take place at Nikko Saigon Hotel, Nikko Garden, from September 26th to 28th, between 6 PM and 11 PM.
In Hanoi, the event will take place at JW Marriott Hanoi from October 17th to 19th, still between 6 PM and 11 PM.
Beyond the prestige and 5-star service quality offered by our two renowned partner hotels, the reason we have collaborated with them for many years to organize events is their unique facilities. Both venues provide spacious outdoor areas allowing us to set up large tents, also known as "Festzelt" like in Germany, with a capacity of 1,300-1,400 guests per event night. This is one of the key factors that sets GBA Oktoberfest Vietnam apart, where you can experience the festive atmosphere and authentic Bavarian culture right here in Vietnam.

This year, to further enhance the authentic atmosphere of a true Oktoberfest, we are pleased to introduce Paulaner beer, brewed exclusively and served in the Paulaner beer tent at the Munich Oktoberfest. This led to our decision on the name of this year's event in Ho Chi Minh City: GBA-Paulaner Oktoberfest 2019 in Ho Chi Minh City. Besides enjoying unlimited German beer in your own Oktoberfest mug, attendees will also enjoy a high-end German buffet, with traditional cuisine sure to please even the most discerning palates. Traditional music and spectacular performances will be presented by the renowned "AntonShow Band" from Munich.
