To celebrate this special occasion, Starbucks Vietnam will bring its unique coffee experience to a new city in Vietnam. The first Starbucks store in Da Nang will open its doors to customers on February 3, 2018.

Da Nang is Vietnam's third-largest city, a place with immense business potential and opportunities. “We’ve been asked many times when Starbucks would expand its presence beyond Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, and now is the time. Not only is this the start with the opening of our first store in Da Nang, but I believe 2018 will be a crucial year for Starbucks Vietnam. There will be more exciting plans to be implemented this year,” shared CEO Patricia Marques.

To celebrate 5 years of operation in Vietnam, on February 1st, every customer visiting Starbucks will receive a special offer: purchase any Tall-sized beverage for only VND 50,000. Even better, Starbucks Rewards members will receive 5X Star points for any in-store purchase. This special offer is available at all Starbucks stores in Vietnam and for one day only.

At the first Starbucks store in Vietnam, located at 76 Le Lai Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Starbucks is offering a special gift to the first 500 customers who visit the store on February 1st, each receiving a small souvenir to commemorate this special day.

Another major milestone for Starbucks Vietnam in 2018 was the return of Starbucks Reserve® Vietnam Da Lat coffee to its home region. From the misty, pine-covered Central Highlands of Vietnam, the second harvest of Starbucks Reserve® coffee, with its exquisite flavor, has been obtained. Known as the "City of Eternal Spring," Da Lat city in Lam Dong province, with its pristine environment, is an ideal destination for tourists seeking refuge from the sweltering heat, and also boasts ideal soil for growing high-quality Arabica coffee. With fertile volcanic soil, cool temperatures, and year-round fog, this highland region produces a unique coffee flavor not found anywhere else. These exceptional coffee beans possess a delicate acidity that highlights notes of chocolate, toffee, and vanilla.

“The Reserve Da Lat Vietnam coffee is very popular with Starbucks partners and customers, and is suitable for many different brewing methods. Great for brewing a morning coffee and also a superb espresso option for your favorite espresso-based drinks, we are excited for the return of Da Lat Vietnam coffee,” shared Patricia Marques, General Manager of Starbucks Vietnam.
