Step House is a villa-style resort located in Vinh Phuc, a half-hour drive from Hanoi. The design combines computer-aided modeling (CMS) with traditional Vietnamese design methods, relying not solely on mechanical devices like air conditioning and functional materials. The result is reduced environmental impact in terms of both construction and operation time, creating a harmonious space suited to the local climate.

Sharing insights into the building's unique design, Mr. Takemori Hiroomi, the company's director, emphasized: "The entire structure is perforated, by synthesizing the orientation and timing of the house's shadows. We chose the shape and orientation of the house to minimize heat by synthesizing and making design decisions. In addition, I adopted a wooden roof design method where the wooden joints fit perfectly to the corners, allowing for immediate expansion of the space. This ensures excellent ventilation throughout the entire house."
