The houses, windows, and streets are meticulously decorated, creating a scene straight out of a comic book.
Her first stop was Notre-Dame Cathedral on Rue Mercière. With its magnificent Gothic architecture, the cathedral stands tall like a monument to time, where the light from its vibrant stained-glass windows creates an atmosphere that is both sacred and enchanting.
From the church, Bang Thanh continued her journey to Place Kléber, where a giant Christmas tree proudly stood tall amidst the festive atmosphere. "This is the first time I've ever seen such a large Christmas tree. The dazzling lights combined with the lively music filled me with emotion and nostalgia," she recounted.

Besides its stunning scenery, Strasbourg's cuisine also leaves a lasting impression on visitors. The bustling Christmas markets offer a variety of specialties such as flammkuchen (Tarte flambée) – a thin pancake with cheese and bacon – or a warm glass of Glühwein (vin chaud) to ward off the cold. "The smell of cheese at the market stalls can be overwhelming, but once you taste it, you'll understand why it's so popular," Thanh shared.
