The project, titled "Night Street in the Hue Imperial Citadel Area," was unanimously approved by the leaders of Hue city. Its goal is to recreate the atmosphere of "ancient Hue," and it will be located in the area outside the Imperial Citadel, encompassing four streets surrounding the Hue Imperial Palace: Twenty-Three August Street, Dang Thai Than Street, Le Huan Street, and Doan Thi Diem Street.
According to Mr. Vo Le Nhat, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City, Thua Thien Hue province, the city will initially pilot a night market on Le Huan Street and Hai Muoi Ba Thang Tam Street every Friday and Saturday evening. The checkpoints will be set up and organizational plans implemented starting at 7:00 PM, with night market performances beginning at 8:00 PM. The night market will mainly feature traditional handicrafts and food businesses.

Currently, units are installing lighting, renovating parks and green spaces in the Imperial Citadel area, creating space for outdoor performances. The Hue Imperial Citadel Relics Conservation Center is also working with the Hue Royal Court Traditional Arts Theatre to finalize performance programs and develop a weekly schedule.
After its opening, the night market will host various performances, folk games, traditional craft villages, and royal cuisine... These activities aim to promote and honor the traditional cultural values of Hue, serving both local people and visiting tourists.
