The Smart Cities Award is a category that seeks to find an effective and innovative operating solution that benefits people and businesses, aiming to improve the quality of life for people and increase the efficiency of city government operations.
Experts evaluate this category based on 5 criteria: scope of application of the solution; ability to meet needs or improve people's lives; completeness compared to existing solutions on the market; benefits the solution brings to people; role of organizations and businesses in building smart cities.
Accordingly, Viettel is the only Vietnamese enterprise to be nominated and win at WCA this year, surpassing leading giants such as China Telecom Global, KT Corporation, ZARIOT secured SIMs... also nominated in the category.
