The first spectacular fireworks display will begin with Symphony of the Sea, a grand spectacle usually only seen at international Olympic Games. Each night, the southern Phu Quoc sky lights up with a "galaxy" made up of 400 fireworks with 40 different effects.
In particular, water fireworks – a type of fireworks that only explodes when they encounter a curtain of water – create a spectacular display of fireworks "erupting" from the depths of the ocean. This symphony of light is further enhanced by 24 Flyboard and Jetski athletes, leaving visitors in awe and admiration.

At 9:30 PM every day, thousands of tourists and residents of Sunset Town spontaneously look up at the sky to welcome the spectacular fireworks display from the Kiss of the Sea show. From the show's viewing platform, visitors can admire the fireworks up close like never before, enjoying the vibrant interplay of light and sound set against a backdrop of international music.
The Kiss of the Sea is a world-class, multi-experience show staged by ECA2 – the company that previously produced the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The show brings together 60 international artists from 20 countries, combining modern technologies such as water, fire, lasers, and lighting, performing on an infinity stage on the sea, the largest in Asia, with a giant water screen covering a total area of 1,000m², delivering a visually stunning artistic feast.

One "privilege" for visitors to Sunset Town on New Year's Eve this year is the opportunity to admire the New Year's fireworks display without having to jostle with crowds. At midnight on January 29th (the first day of the Lunar New Year), the fireworks display of the "Kiss of the Sea" show will be lit up for the second time. Five minutes with over 100 pyrotechnic effects, both high-altitude and low-altitude, will weave a tapestry of light across the Phu Quoc night sky, creating a dazzling galaxy of light like never before.
Reportedly, hotel occupancy rates in Sunset Town exceed 90%, and the water music shows are sold out, with peak days attracting over 15,000 visitors. According to the Kien Giang Department of Tourism, including both domestic and sea-arriving tourists, the island city receives no fewer than 15,000 visitors on peak days. This is also why numerous hotel rooms in Phu Quoc, especially those in resort and entertainment complexes in the south of the island, are always fully booked and occupied.
