My numb hands glided through the cold, dry wind typical of Ladakh weather, my face was equally tingling, but I experienced it all. It was so real and so exciting!”, Thuy Duong recounted.

During the trip to Ladakh, Thuy Duong emphasized that tourists need to take anti-altitude shock medication before boarding the plane in Vietnam. Prepare warm enough clothes, good protection for hands and feet and pay attention to keeping the nose, mouth and neck warm because the cold, dry air can easily cause runny noses and nosebleeds. Those with respiratory problems, blood pressure, heart problems... should consult a doctor before traveling.
