Instead of just choosing familiar dishes such as sushi or sashimi, diners at OKITA will be encouraged and served in a process like a "flow": from the most popular appetizers in Japan to fresh sashimi, diverse sushi, quality grilled meat and attractive hot pot.
More than 200 diverse dishes with rich flavors of the cherry blossom country are prepared by the talented hands of chef Fuku Nguyen - an excellent student of Japanese culinary culture ambassador Tomisawa.
Starting the journey of the “flow”, diners start with some hot dishes and beans, ginkgo. The special dish at this stage is steamed eggs with traditional sauce of the cherry blossom country. Next, diners will go to the “Sashimi turn” with the special feature of the Vietnamese - Japanese Sashimi boat, made from quality seafood sources to bring quintessential and unique flavors.
The next step in the journey to discover the “traditional Japanese culinary flow” is sushi. Diners will be impressed by the “mountain” of Sushi Gofuku, inspired by Mount Fuji and the image of terraced fields in Vietnam. “The road to the top of the mountain” is a 5-level culinary journey carrying the wishes of happiness, prosperity, longevity, health, and peace.
Afterwards, diners will proceed to the reward of the “culinary journey” with a barbecue party at the table on a Nasu plate – a symbol of luck according to Japanese beliefs.
