Set in an architectural space inspired by the design lines of the legendary Long Bien Bridge, La Plume is rapidly becoming an attractive destination for delicious yet simple meals, relaxing moments with a cup of coffee, or flavorful cocktail evenings in the heart of Hanoi's French Quarter.

"La Plume" in French means the quill pen that people of the past used to write immortal works of literature. The name also evokes a time in the past when writers, journalists, and photographers from all walks of life frequented this place to meet and exchange information. Today, the imprint of that time seems to remain in the decorative motifs of La Plume, through famous poems and sentences written in many different languages around the world. But perhaps most striking is the large bar located in the center under a metal ceiling that mimics the image of the Long Bien Bridge, creating an impressive backdrop for a stroll along Hanoi's historic bridge.

Inspired by the hands of writers, La Plume, like the neighboring La Table du Chef restaurant, is designed to celebrate the creativity of human hands. Therefore, La Plume showcases the artwork of local artisans, artists, chefs, and winemakers. La Plume not only collects 450 different wines, mostly from France, but also fosters strong relationships with major wineries worldwide by listing their names on its wine catalog.

In this unique setting, La Plume invites you to discover Chef Dao Van Son's authentic culinary concept, through dishes served throughout the day, including breakfast and afternoon tea, using both locally sourced and imported organic ingredients. La Plume's menu changes monthly, showcasing a harmonious blend of Eastern and Western cuisines.

La Plume is also where you can experience the art of cocktail making with the champion bartender Pham Tien Tiep. Known for his amiable face and friendly smile, Tiep is always ready to share his extensive knowledge of flavors, balance, and new trends in drinks. He has brought to La Plume an authentic cocktail culture, awakening all the senses of the drinker. Each cocktail at La Plume is not just a sophisticated drink, but also evokes touching stories that resonate with the heart. The "Full Moon" cocktail was created by him based on his grandmother's story about a little girl who dreamed of meeting her deceased mother on a full moon night and eating the sour fish soup her mother cooked. Tiep also lost his mother at a very young age, and the "Full Moon" cocktail is an expression of his love and longing for her. His "Full Moon" cocktail recreates the familiar taste of his mother's sour fish soup through the spices characteristic of that dish.

Private and quiet during the day, La Plume comes alive after dark, with captivating DJ performances (Thursday to Sunday) and a variety of other entertainment options.
