In an architectural space inspired by the design lines of the legendary Long Bien Bridge, La Plume is quickly becoming an attractive meeting place for delicious yet simple meals, relaxing moments with a cup of coffee or cocktail-flavored evenings in the heart of Hanoi's old French quarter.

“La Plume” in French means the brush that ancient people used to write immortal literary works. This name also recalls a time in the past when writers, journalists, and photographers from all walks of life used to come here to meet and exchange information. Today, the mark of that time seems to remain on the decorative motifs of La Plume, through famous poems and sentences written in many different languages around the world. But perhaps the most obvious is the large bar located in the center under the metal ceiling simulating the image of the Long Bien bridge, creating an impressive scene for a walk along the historic bridge of Hanoi.

Inspired by the hand of the writer, La Plume, like its neighboring restaurant La Table du Chef, is designed to celebrate the creativity of the human hand. As such, La Plume showcases the work of local artisans, artists, chefs, and winemakers. La Plume not only stocks 450 different wines, mostly from France, but also cultivates good relationships with the world’s leading wineries by including their names on its wine list.

In this unique space, La Plume invites you to discover the authentic culinary concept of Chef Dao Van Son, through dishes served all day, including breakfast and afternoon tea, using local and imported organic ingredients. La Plume's menu changes monthly, showing the harmonious combination of two culinary cultures East and West.

La Plume is also where you can experience the art of cocktail mixing with the champion cocktail mixologist Pham Tien Tiep. Famous for his friendly face and friendly smile, Tiep is always ready to share his extensive knowledge of flavors, balances, and new trends in drinks. He has brought to La Plume a true cocktail culture, awakening all the senses of the drinker. Each cocktail at La Plume is not just a sophisticated drink, but also evokes touching stories that touch the hearts of every person. The cocktail "Full Moon" was created by him based on his grandmother's story about a little girl who dreamed of meeting her deceased mother on a full moon night and eating her mother's sour fish soup. Tiep also lost his mother at a very young age, and the cocktail "Full Moon" is an expression of his love and longing for his mother. His “Full Moon” cocktail recreates the familiar taste of my mother's sour fish soup through the spices typical of this dish.

Private and quiet during the day, La Plume comes alive at night, with exciting DJ performances (Thursday to Sunday) and plenty of other entertainment.
