The "Full Moon" cocktail was created by him based on his grandmother's story about a little girl who dreamed of meeting her deceased mother on a full moon night and eating the sour fish soup her mother cooked. Tiep also lost his mother at a very young age, and the "Full Moon" cocktail is an expression of his love and longing for her. His "Full Moon" cocktail recreates the familiar taste of his mother's sour fish soup through the spices characteristic of that dish.
