The event was jointly organized by the Vietnam Fine Arts University, the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, and sponsoring organizations. The exhibition space is the art gallery of the Vietnam Fine Arts University, the birthplace of many leading national artists.
The opening ceremony was attended by artists from the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, press agencies, students from the Vietnam Fine Arts University, and art enthusiasts.
The exhibition celebrates nude-themed artworks by more than 30 artists from across the country. At the exhibition, viewers can enjoy and appreciate nude art in a direct and comprehensive way.

Nude drawing is a compulsory subject in art schools. After Vietnam gained independence, many artists achieved fame in this subject, but there haven't been many specialized exhibitions. This time, a group of artists who are members of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association have come together as an initial step to raise the aesthetic appreciation of art lovers and also to give the artists an opportunity to showcase different styles revolving around the timeless theme of the nude.
Here, art lovers will encounter Bui Xuan Phai again in his work "Lying Girl," an image that captures the beauty of the difficult subsidy era: in the summer, there were no air conditioners like today, only hand-held fans to provide relief; the girl lies with her legs crossed, hoping to ventilate herself, creating a full and complete visual perspective.

Nguyen Bich expresses love in his "youthful" years; he was fortunate to have beautiful models, so he painted continuously. Although he used ink on newspaper, he carefully preserved it by keeping it in two layers of glass, both in front and behind the painting, to protect it from termites. Linh Chi, naturally petite and elegant, found a model who was plump and full of vitality. Le Nang Hien, already famous for his painting "Oriental Maja," still shines with his beauty in "Girl and Flowers." Tran Huy Oanh, already famous in the early 1960s for his work "Miners Bathing," continued that momentum, creating many paintings of "Artists and Models." In early 2019, one of his paintings fetched nearly 400 million dong at auction (a painting measuring 55 x 80 cm).

Le Cong Thanh is a talented sculptor specializing in depicting beautiful women in both paintings and sculptures, with a coherent, lively, and stylized approach, and a creative rhythm in harmony with his wife, the female artist Kim Thai. Le Tri Dung is not only famous for painting horses, but he also skillfully combines alluring beauties with the majestic posture of horses. Tran Khanh Chuong is imaginative and free-spirited in his series of paintings "Girls and Flowers," which he expresses skillfully in Tempera on silk.

The exhibition also displays famous works by many artists such as: Doan Hong, An Chuong, Tran Doc, Le Ngoc Han, Phung Di Thuan, Le Duc Biet, Ngo Thanh Nhan, Dang Quy Khoa, Luong Xuan Trinh, To Lien, Trinh Minh Huong, Hoang Nguyen Doan, Pham Duc Phong, Le Dinh Quy, Cao Trong Thiem, Mai San, Tran Tuy...

The exhibition will run until September 29th at the Vietnam Fine Arts University.
