The event is jointly organized by the Vietnam University of Fine Arts, the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and sponsors. The exhibition space is the painting gallery of the Vietnam University of Fine Arts, the birthplace of many of the country's leading artists.
The opening ceremony was attended by artists from the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, press agencies, students from the Vietnam University of Fine Arts and art lovers.
The exhibition is a place to honor the nude-themed works of more than 30 artists across the country. Coming to the exhibition, viewers can enjoy and feel the nude art directly and completely.
Nude drawing is a compulsory subject in art schools. After the independence of our country, many artists have become famous in this subject, but there have not been many specialized exhibitions. This time, a group of artists from the Vietnam Fine Arts Association gathered to initially improve the aesthetic level of the art-loving public and also to give the artists an opportunity to express their different styles around the eternal theme - nude.
Here, art lovers will meet Bui Xuan Phai again in the work "Lying Girl", an image that captures the beauty of the difficult subsidy period: in the summer, there was no air conditioning like today, only a fan to save the day, the girl lay with her legs crossed to ventilate herself, bringing a full view of the shape.
Nguyen Bich expressed his love in his "spring" age, he was lucky to have a beautiful model so he painted continuously, although he painted with Chinese ink on newspaper, he carefully put it in two layers of glass both in front and behind the painting to prevent termites. Linh Chi was originally a small and elegant person but found a plump and full of life model. Le Nang Hien was already famous in the painting "Maja Phuong Dong", now still radiates beauty in "Young girl and flower". Tran Huy Oanh in the early 1960s became famous in the work "Miner bathing", in that momentum, he created many paintings "Painter and model", in early 2019, there was a painting auctioned for nearly 400 million VND (painting size 55 x 80).
Le Cong Thanh is a talented sculptor who specializes in worshiping beautiful women in both paintings and statues with a coherent and lively stylized style, a creative rhythm in harmony with his wife, the female artist Kim Thai. Le Tri Dung is not only famous for painting horses, he also skillfully combines hot beauties with the brave horse's figure. Tran Khanh Chuong is airy and free in the series of paintings "Girl and Flower", which he skillfully expressed in Tempera material on silk.
The exhibition also displays famous works by many artists such as: Doan Hong, An Chuong, Tran Doc, Le Ngoc Han, Phung Di Thuan, Le Duc Biet, Ngo Thanh Nhan, Dang Quy Khoa, Luong Xuan Trinh, To Lien, Trinh Minh Huong, Hoang Nguyen Doan, Pham Duc Phong, Le Dinh Quy, Cao Trong Thiem, Mai San, Tran Tuy...
The exhibition will last until September 29 at Vietnam University of Fine Arts.
