The exhibition “Recreating the allure of the world. Architecture, cities, transformation” is a manifesto of future architecture, designed by 40 architects who have won the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture.
Through the exemplary projects presented at the exhibition, we will have the opportunity to explore the ever-changing field of architecture. The goals of future designs are becoming increasingly complex and diverse, aiming to solve the problems facing the world. Many questions are posed to architects in this new era, as the world undergoes major shifts in population, ecology, urbanization, and energy.
The exhibition “Recreating the Appeal of the World” showcases architectural projects with complex and diverse movements. Some notable works on display include: the Guga S'Thebe Centre for Arts, Culture and History, built based on the cultural and urban characteristics of South Africa; the Wallonia Forestry Centre (Belgium) with its dome constructed using bent wooden piles; and a youth hostel made of bamboo and mud in Zhejiang Province (China)...
Wallonia Regional Agricultural Centre (Belgium)
These projects all aim for sustainable development while simultaneously striving to create the best possible living environment for people. Furthermore, the exhibition "Recreating the Appeal of the World: Architecture, Cities, and Transformation" also aims to raise awareness among citizens and professionals alike about ethical values and an open-minded attitude towards new knowledge.
Designed and organized by the Paris Institute of Architecture and Heritage, the exhibition “Recreating the Appeal of the World - Architecture, Cities, Transformation” has been displayed in various locations across France, including Saint-Jacques Hospital in Besançon, Le Pavillon (Caen), Saint-Denis, and in Cambodia before coming to Vietnam.
Exhibition opening: At 6 PM on November 25, 2022 at Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture (196 Pasteur Street, Ward 6, District 3).
