The exhibition “Reinventing the World: Architecture, Cities, Transformation” is a manifesto of future architecture, designed by 40 architects who won the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture.
Through the typical projects introduced at the exhibition, we will have the opportunity to explore the changing architecture industry. The goals of future designs are becoming more complex and diverse to solve the problems that the world is facing. Here, many questions are raised for architects in the new era when the world is undergoing a major shift in population, ecology, urban and energy.
The exhibition “Reinventing the World’s Attraction” introduces to participants architectural projects with complex and diverse movements. Some typical works displayed at the exhibition include: Guga S’Thebe Center for Art, Culture and History built based on cultural and urban characteristics in South Africa. Wallonia Forestry Center (Belgium) with dome architecture built by bending wooden poles. Or the guest house for young people made of bamboo and mud in Zhejiang province (China)...
Wallonia Agricultural Center (Belgium)
These projects are all aimed at sustainable development along with the aim of becoming the best living environment for people. In addition, the exhibition “Reinventing the world’s attraction. Architecture, cities, transformation” also aims to raise awareness among people as well as experts about ethical values and openness to new knowledge.
Designed and organized by the Paris Architecture and Heritage Agency, the exhibition “Reinventing the World’s Attraction – Architecture, Cities, Transformations” has been displayed in many places in France such as Saint-Jacques Hospital in Besançon, Le Pavillon (Caen), Saint-Denis and in Cambodia before coming to Vietnam.
Exhibition opening: At 6:00 p.m. on November 25, 2022 at Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture (196 Pasteur, Ward 6, District 3).
