China has officially announced that it will implement a visa-free policy for foreign tour groups arriving in the country by cruise ship. This is a move aimed at facilitating cruise tourism.
Specifically, foreign tourist groups arriving in China by cruise ship, organized and hosted by Chinese travel companies, may be exempt from visa requirements at cruise ports in 13 cities such as Tianjin, Liaoning, Jiangsu, Shanghai, etc., and the group's stay will not exceed 15 days.

The mandatory conditions for visa-free entry include: the tourist group must consist of at least two people; the tour must be organized by a licensed Chinese travel company; and the cruise ship must dock at one of the 13 designated tourist ports, including Tianjin, Shanghai, Dalian, Lianyungang, Wenzhou, Zhoushan, Xiamen, Qingdao, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Beihai, Haikou, and Sanya.
