As the rice fields along the Ngo Dong River in the Tam Coc wonderland begin to ripen to a golden hue, the people of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu eagerly prepare for Ninh Binh Tourism Week with the theme "The Golden Colors of Tam Coc-Trang An". This is not only a unique annual tourism product but also a source of pride for the local people.
The Tourism Week activities aim to introduce and widely promote the unique cultural and historical features of the province; the potential and strengths of its tourism resources, especially to promote the outstanding global values of the Trang An Heritage Site.

The tourism week will feature activities aimed at introducing and promoting the unique cultural, historical, and outstanding heritage values of Ninh Binh, such as: displaying products from all over the country at the Tam Coc pedestrian street and food market, organizing a goat fighting competition, reenacting traditional agricultural rituals, etc.
Many activities are taking place to celebrate the heritage beauty of Trang An in particular and Ninh Binh in general.
In addition, there are opportunities to visit traditional handicrafts of the heritage region such as: the process of making Bo Bat pottery, Van Lam embroidery, Ninh Van stone carving, or learn about OCOP products bearing the Ninh Binh brand; participate in the "Tam Coc Golden Season" photo tour to get unique and impressive photos every time you visit Tam Coc during the rice harvest season; enjoy folk singing and dancing performances, folk games, etc.
In 2024, Ninh Binh aims to welcome 7.5 million visitors, including 6.6 million domestic tourists and 900,000 international tourists, with estimated revenue of 8,250 billion VND.
