This vibrant event traditionally takes place at the Windsor Plaza Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, and for the first time, it has been expanded to Hanoi, at the Daewoo Hanoi Hotel.
The program will start at 6:00 PM each evening and last until midnight from September 27th to October 2nd in Ho Chi Minh City, and from October 6th to 8th in Hanoi. The opening ceremony will begin with the traditional ritual of opening the first beer barrel, featuring special guests in colorful Bavarian folk costumes.
The annual Oktoberfest Vietnam event recreates the vibrant and distinctive atmosphere of the original Oktoberfest in its spacious beer halls, served with a lavish buffet featuring a variety of German dishes such as sausages, breaded and fried meat, roasted pork knuckle, Frikadellen meatballs, bagel, sauerkraut, and many other tempting options. In addition, there are selections of Asian and Vietnamese dishes, including a live cooking station offering a hot, fresh whole roasted veal. And of course, diners can enjoy two premium beers, Schenider Weisse and Krombacher, imported directly from Germany.
This year's entertainment program offers a more exciting array of performances, including foreign bands performing traditional Bavarian songs as well as vibrant contemporary music. In addition, there are spectacular aerial acrobatics performances, improvisational and creative music from DJs, and captivating dances by talented dancers. Guests can also participate in fun activities and exciting games for a chance to win surprise prizes.
Mr. Adwin Chong, General Manager of Windsor Plaza Hotel, said he was delighted that Oktoberfest was being held again after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. “This will be the most spectacular Oktoberfest ever, welcoming everyone in Ho Chi Minh City, and promises to be the most memorable party of the year!” he shared.
In Hanoi, Mr. Erwin Popov, General Manager of the Hanoi Daewoo Hotel, also stated that he and all the staff are very excited to bring the unique Oktoberfest Vietnam to the capital. “This event has long been very popular in Ho Chi Minh City, and we are confident that people in Hanoi are also looking forward to enjoying a beer festival with a strong German spirit and a modern, fresh twist.”
This year's lucky draw program will award many valuable prizes to participants, including a grand prize of 30 million VND from SCB Bank, nightly prizes worth 1 million, 3 million, and 5 million VND, and other attractive gift prizes.
Tickets for Oktoberfest Vietnam 2022 are priced at VND 1,300,000 for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings; and VND 1,500,000 for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. A special 10% discount is offered to customers using WMC Prestige and Daewoo Privilege membership cards.
