This vibrant event traditionally takes place at the Windsor Plaza Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City, and for the first time is being extended to Hanoi, at the Daewoo Hanoi Hotel.
The event will start at 6:00 pm each evening and run until midnight from September 27 to October 2 in Ho Chi Minh City, and from October 6 to 8 in Hanoi. The opening ceremony will begin with the traditional tapping of the first beer keg with special guests dressed in colorful Bavarian folk costumes.

The annual Oktoberfest Vietnam event recreates the vibrant and unique atmosphere in the large beer halls of the original Oktoberfest, served with a sumptuous buffet with a variety of German flavors such as sausages, crispy breaded meat, grilled pork leg, Frikadellen meatballs, donuts, sauerkraut and many other attractive dishes. In addition, there are also stalls with selected Asian and Vietnamese dishes, especially a special on-site cooking station with hot, fresh whole roasted veal. And of course, diners can enjoy two premium Schenider Weisse and Krombacher beers imported directly from Germany.

This year’s entertainment and performance programme is more colourful, including international bands performing traditional Bavarian songs as well as lively contemporary music. In addition, there are special performances by aerial trapeze artists, spontaneous and creative music from DJs and passionate dances by talented dancers. Guests can also take part in fun activities and exciting games for a chance to win surprise gifts.
Mr. Adwin Chong - General Manager of Windsor Plaza Hotel, said he was very excited to have Oktoberfest back after two years of suspension due to the pandemic. “This will be the most spectacular Oktoberfest ever to welcome everyone in Ho Chi Minh City, and promises to be the party of the year!”, he shared.

In Hanoi, Mr. Erwin Popov - General Manager of Hanoi Daewoo Hotel, also said that he and all the staff were very excited to bring the unique Oktoberfest Vietnam festival to the capital. "This event in Ho Chi Minh City has long been very famous, and we are sure that people in Hanoi are also looking forward to enjoying the beer festival with the German spirit and a modern, fresh breath."
This year’s lucky draw will award many valuable prizes to participants, including a special prize worth VND30 million from SCB Bank, nightly prizes worth VND1 million, VND3 million and VND5 million, and other attractive gift prizes.
