This year's TheDesignAir Awards once again honors leading airlines that invest best in design, products, and brand management, with numerous award categories. Nominations are based on assessments from aviation industry experts along with feedback from frequent flyers of various airlines.
After interviewing and gathering feedback from passengers who chose to fly with Turkisk Airlines at Istanbul Airport in the lounge areas, check-in islands, and ticket service counters, TheDesignAir also experienced the airline's designed in-flight services in both business and economy class cabins. With excellent ratings and scores, Turkish Airlines won the Design Airline of the Year, Europe 2022 award at this year's TheDesignAir awards ceremony for innovation.

Speaking about the award, Turkish Airlines' marketing director, Ahmet Olmuştur, said: “From the entrance to the check-in counters and lounges at Istanbul Airport, as well as the new cabin and seat designs on our aircraft, we have meticulously incorporated Turkish Airlines' brand identity at every touchpoint. With our traditional hospitality, we strive to make the passenger experience privileged by providing service that exceeds their expectations.”
