In addition, Thailand continued to attract Vietnamese tourists in the first 3 months of 2024 with 209,326 arrivals.

Booking statistics show that during the recent April 30 and May 1 holidays, Bangkok was the most popular foreign destination for Vietnamese tourists. Along with Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket were also destinations chosen by Vietnamese tourists during their long holidays.

According to the report “Overseas travel trends of Vietnamese tourists - Summer 2024” published by The Outbox Company, the demand for overseas travel of Vietnamese tourists this summer is still very high. Specifically, 79.7% of Vietnamese tourists plan to travel abroad within the next 12 months and 22.2% of them have booked services for the trip. Thailand continues to be a favorite destination of Vietnamese tourists, along with traditional destinations such as Korea, Japan and Singapore.
