This announcement was officially confirmed by Vietnam Airlines on May 9, 2022. Accordingly, passengers can save time by checking in online via the website.www.vietnamairlines.com, or the Vietnam Airlines mobile app, between 24 hours and 1 hour before scheduled departure time.
After completing the online check-in process, passengers will receive an “Online Boarding Pass” via electronic device or can print the pass themselves, then go straight to the passenger security check gate and the boarding gate, without having to go to the airline check-in counter at the airport for confirmation. For passengers with checked baggage, they can check in their baggage at the check-in counters arranged at the airport.

Online check-in service helps trips to be smooth, seamless, and quick; especially helps to limit queuing and crowding, ensuring safe travel. Currently, the percentage of Vietnam Airlines passengers checking in online accounts for about 55% at major airports such as Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Da Nang and over 30% at local airports.
This is one of Vietnam Airlines' efforts to move towards the goal of becoming a digital airline. Previously, in mid-March, the airline also launched online check-in service for passengers departing from Dien Bien airport. Thus, to date, Can Tho is the 13th domestic airport that Vietnam Airlines provides this convenient service after Noi Bai (Hanoi), Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City), Da Nang, Cam Ranh, Van Don, Cat Bi, Vinh, Chu Lai, Con Dao, Phu Quoc, Lien Khuong (Da Lat) and Dien Bien.
