Condé Nast Traveler magazine has just announced the results of the 2020 Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards, voted by more than 715,000 readers from around the world. The award categories include favorite country, best city, best resort and best resort island.
According to the poll results, in the top 20 most favorite countries in the world to visit by CNTraveler, Vietnam appeared in 9th place with 92.12 points.

Topping the top 20 most popular tourist countries in 2020 is Italy. Second in the poll is Sri Lanka with 93.96 points. Portugal is honored in 3rd place, Japan with 93.35 points ranked 4th and Greece with 93.32 points ranked 5th.
In addition to Vietnam, three other Southeast Asian destinations also appeared: Indonesia ranked 6th with 92.98 points, Thailand ranked 7th with 92.62 points and Malaysia ranked 15th with 90.6 points. Vietnam's 9th position this year has increased one rank compared to 2019 when it was 10th last year.
