Many Tibetans believe that the "one step, one bow" journey must be completed in a single day, but this is difficult to achieve, as even with a guide, pilgrims must carry their own supplies. A more convenient option is to travel to Lhasa, then stop at Darchen at an altitude of 4,600 meters, and then walk, ride buffalo, or horse around the base of the mountain, a journey that takes approximately 3-5 days.

Singalila National Park

Annapurna Route
