Breakfast in Dong Van, Hoi An street food, or duck farming in Tra O lagoon are among the winning photos in the Pink Lady Food Photography international food photography competition.

Overcoming many strong contenders, photographs capturing simple moments of life and people in Vietnam by a Vietnamese author have been honored at an international photography competition. Pink Lady Food Photography is a prestigious international food photography competition, held annually in the UK, open to professional, amateur, and young photographers. The competition's award categories cover a wide range of aspects of life, including culture and production.

This year's competition attracted over 10,500 entries from 70 countries worldwide. At the end of April, the final results were announced online on YouTube, featuring many entries photographed in Vietnam.

The winning photograph in the "Food at the Table" category, "Breakfast at the Market," by Nguyen Huu Thong, taken in Dong Van, Ha Giang, captured the moment of local men enjoying a steaming bowl of pho at a market.
