Since 1997, Somerset Grand Hanoi and Somerset Ho Chi Minh City have officially operated, welcoming guests and residents from around the world, establishing themselves as a leading international standard serviced apartment management group in Vietnam. A stylish 20th anniversary celebration, featuring a series of commemorative activities reflecting on the past and looking towards the future, was held in both cities.
"I am very proud to be here with our staff, customers, and business partners to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Somerset Grand Hanoi and Somerset Ho Chi Minh City. Since officially opening in 1997, we have come a long way. Looking ahead, I am truly excited," said Ms. Lew Yen Ping, Regional General Manager Vietnam.

"As a pioneer in the field of serviced apartment management in Vietnam, with over 4,800 apartments across seven provinces and cities, today is a wonderful opportunity to thank all the people who have worked and dedicated themselves tirelessly to achieve this success. To celebrate this momentous occasion, we would like to express our gratitude to our valued customers and partners who have always supported us. We look forward to the future and expect many more successful 20th-anniversary celebrations," added Ms. Lew.
Mr. Mukaichi Hiroaki, one of Somerset Grand Hanoi's longest-standing residents, shared: "The management team has ensured that the service standards are maintained at the highest level by every staff member in all departments. Thank you to the building's wonderful staff, from security, customer service, housekeeping to the fitness center consultants. They are the ones who have made my stay here a joyful experience.”
Quang Trung, a technical staff member at Somerset Ho Chi Minh City, proudly shared: "I am very proud to have worked at Ascott Group for the past 20 years. I believe that the management cares about us as true members of a family, not just employees. Being part of such a wonderful team motivates me to contribute more and strive to complete every task to the best of my ability."

Having been honored with the “Leading Serviced Apartment” award from the World Travel Awards for four consecutive years since 2014, Somerset Grand Hanoi and Somerset Ho Chi Minh City have set industry standards and gained global recognition. They are also very active in building sustainable human resources. These efforts include essential projects such as water conservation, recycling and waste management, as well as encouraging residents to donate food, clothing, and school supplies to support needy local communities. Alongside this, they organize and support charitable fundraising activities. These include the annual Somerset Charity Fair, car washes, and organic bag sales to raise funds for primary school children. To date, over 800 underprivileged students in remote areas of Binh Phuoc, Nam Dinh, and most recently Hoa Binh provinces have received support.
