Located at 36 Ly Thuong Kiet Street, the Vietnam Women's Museum is located near the famous Hoan Kiem Lake, the Old Quarter, the Temple of Literature... very convenient for tourists to visit. The museum has an exhibition area of 1,200 square meters, modern design, rich content, so this place is always the first choice of tourists on the occasion of International Women's Day March 8.

The museum has 5 floors, each floor displays a different theme but focuses mainly on 3 main themes: "Women in the family", "Women in history" and "Women's fashion". Each theme is divided into many sub-themes.
On the 2nd floor with the theme “Women in the family”, visitors will learn about Vietnamese women through topics such as: Marriage, childbirth and family life. How did Vietnamese women in the past give birth, care for and raise their children, customs and practices during the first birthday, engagement, wedding ceremonies… and what are the differences in wedding costumes of different ethnic groups?... all will be answered through eye-catching and impressive display corners, realistic documentary films with strong humanistic colors.

On the 3rd floor with the theme “Women in History”, visitors will learn about Vietnamese women through each historical period such as 1930 – 1945, 1945 – 1954 and 1954 – 1975, famous Vietnamese women in history, heroic Vietnamese mothers or portraits of contemporary women. The contributions of women in the struggle for national independence, the glorious feats of brave and resilient women… The theme “Women’s Fashion” on the 4th floor will bring visitors interesting experiences about the custom of chewing betel and dyeing teeth of Vietnamese women, traditional costumes of ethnic women or jewelry and makeup of women in ancient times.
