'The sea remembers your name calling back': A night of devotion

Never before has winter in Sam Son town started with such bustling days as this year. The first cold winds of the season from the sea make tourists even more excited when coming to Sam Son to enjoy Trinh music night held at FLC Sam Son Eco-tourism Resort Complex.

The program organized by FLC Group has become a unique artistic product. When interviewed about the meaning of the program's name, musician Phu Quang shared: when FLC invited him to be the music director for the first large-scale Trinh music program in Thanh Hoa, the thing that troubled him the most was the program's name. It had to be a name that reminded people of Trinh but also gave the audience an impression of the place where the program was held. And "The sea remembers your name calling you back" was what he thought of on an early winter afternoon when he returned to Thanh Hoa. Witnessing the changes of the Sam Son sea, Phu Quang realized that, true to Trinh's spirit, with the desires and wishes to dedicate to life, people can create miracles. "The sea remembers your name calling you back" is like a tribute to those who always dedicate themselves to a meaningful life, to people and love of life. On a smaller scale, it is also a tribute to FLC for Thanh Hoa, when it used its dedication to change the face of this place.

In just over 2 hours, musician Phu Quang brought over 1,300 audiences at the FLC Sam Son International Convention Center through different emotions about love, people and life in Trinh Cong Son's music.

The music night opened with cheerful, pure and gentle melodies such as: Quynh Huong performed by young singer Nhat Thuy, Mot gioi di ve by singer Minh Thu, Xin cho toi with singer Duc Tuan.

The surprise appearance in the middle of the auditorium of Saxophone artist Tran Manh Tuan combined with his 12-year-old daughter An Tran received much applause from the audience.

The presence of the three top divas of Vietnam was the highlight of the program. First was the soaring voice of diva My Linh. Her sweet and powerful voice almost melted the hearts of the audience and blended into each verse of the songs: “Tuoi da buon” and “Mua hong”.

One of the most successful performers of Trinh's music, Ms. Bong Hong Nhung would not be absent. She "lulled" the audience with the saxophone accompaniment of artist Tran Manh Tuan. During the music night, Ms. Bong also moved the audience, continuously clapping her hands when she shared her memories with musician Trinh Cong Son: "When I wrote the song for Hong Nhung, I was a goby: looking for love, looking for love in the sun, you met the rain, the umbrella or looking for love in the sad alley, you came back, looking for love on the mountain you met the floating clouds, the umbrella or looking for love in the market of love is gone".

The song “Bien nho” performed with great skill and excellence by Vietnam’s top singers: Thanh Lam – Hong Nhung – Saxophone Tran Manh Tuan – Tan Minh – Duc Tuan ended the Trinh Cong Son Music Night with the theme “Bien nho nam anh cau ve”.

The music night was a real success, the audience left with satisfied faces after a wonderful music night. Ms. Nguyen Le Nga - Thanh Hoa city shared: This year's winter in Sam Son town is completely different from previous years, not as quiet and deserted anymore. Today's music night was very good. It was very reasonable for us to come down from the city to listen to music. I really hope that there will be more programs organized in Thanh Hoa like this so that our people can enjoy and understand more about music and culture."
