Never before has winter in Sam Son town begun with such bustling days as this year. The first cold winds of the season from the coast only fueled the excitement of tourists coming to Sam Son to enjoy the Trinh Cong Son music night held at the FLC Sam Son eco-tourism resort complex.

Ms. Huong Tran Kieu Dung – General Director of FLC Group – the organizer of the music night, delivered a welcoming speech to the audience.
The program, organized by FLC Group, has become a remarkable artistic production. When interviewed about the meaning of the program's title, musician Phu Quang shared: when FLC invited him to be the music director for the first large-scale Trinh Cong Son music program in Thanh Hoa, his biggest concern was the title. It had to be a name that evokes memories of Trinh Cong Son but also creates an impression of the location where the program is held. And "The Sea Remembers Your Name and Calls You Back" was conceived by him on an early winter afternoon upon returning to Thanh Hoa. Witnessing the changes in the Sam Son coastal area, Phu Quang realized that, true to Trinh Cong Son's spirit, with the yearning and desire to dedicate oneself to life, one can create miracles. "The Sea Remembers Your Name and Calls You Back" is a tribute to those who always dedicate themselves to a meaningful life, to humanity and to the love of life. On a smaller scale, it is also a tribute to FLC for its contributions to transforming the face of Thanh Hoa province.

MC Thuy Van and musician Phu Quang interacted with the audience.
In just over two hours, musician Phu Quang brought to more than 1,300 audience members at the FLC Sam Son International Convention Center a range of emotions about love, people, and life as expressed in Trinh Cong Son's music.
The concert opened with cheerful, bright, and gentle melodies such as "Quynh Huong" performed by young singer Nhat Thuy, "Mot Coi Di Ve" by singer Minh Thu, and "Xin Cho Toi" sung by Duc Tuan.

Duc Tuan sings passionately "Please Give Me".
The unexpected appearance of saxophone artist Tran Manh Tuan and his 12-year-old daughter An Tran right in the middle of the auditorium received much applause from the audience.
The appearance of three of Vietnam's top divas was a highlight of the program. First was the soaring voice of diva My Linh. Her sweet yet powerful voice almost melted the hearts of the audience, immersing them in each lyric of the medley: "Tuoi Da Buon" and "Mua Hong".
One of the most successful interpreters of Trinh Cong Son's music is undoubtedly Hong Nhung. She captivated the audience with her rendition of "Ru Tinh" (Lullaby of Love), accompanied by the saxophone of artist Tran Manh Tuan. During the concert, Hong Nhung deeply moved the audience, eliciting continuous applause, as she shared memories of the composer: "When he wrote the song for Hong Nhung, it was a little fish: searching for love in the sun, I encountered the rain; oh, searching for love in the deserted alley; searching for love on the mountain, I encountered flying clouds; oh, searching for love in the market, love was gone."

Hong Nhung "Lulls the audience with love."
The concert truly brought Hong Nhung back to the memories in her heart. Accompanied by the gentle piano music, her storytelling transported the audience to a romantic space with a love story: “Sleep here, my love, while I wait for you to go out there and find me a love. But if you don’t find it after one day, two days, or three days, then only you will come back to me.”
A touch of mystique, combined with an "exceptional" voice, full of charm and expression, is evident in singer Thanh Lam's performances of songs like "Do You Remember, My Dear?" and "The Old Forest Has Closed".

The song "Sea of Memories," performed with exceptional skill and artistry by leading Vietnamese vocalists Thanh Lam, Hong Nhung, saxophonist Tran Manh Tuan, Tan Minh, and Duc Tuan, concluded the Trinh Cong Son Music Night themed "The Sea of Memories Calls Your Name Back."
The concert was a real success, and the audience left with satisfied faces after a wonderful evening. Ms. Nguyen Le Nga from Thanh Hoa city shared: "This year's winter in Sam Son town is completely different from previous years; it's no longer desolate and deserted. The concert was excellent. It was very fitting that we came all the way from the city to listen to music. We hope that more programs like this will be organized in Thanh Hoa so that our people can enjoy and learn more about music and culture."

“The Sea Remembers Your Name and Calls You Back” is the latest spiritual gift that FLC Group sends to music lovers in Thanh Hoa as well as tourists staying at the FLC Sam Son eco-tourism resort complex. This is also the place where many major cultural events have taken place, such as the Hanoi Culture and Tourism Week in Thanh Hoa, the 2015 Sao Mai Final Round, and Vietnamese Folk Songs.
