Just standing here will give you a great and stylish photo. Unfortunately, over time, this familiar wall has also faced quite a few challenges as it's been repeatedly vandalized with graffiti. The bakery owner has had to repaint the wall many times to maintain its clean and beautiful appearance so that young people can comfortably take photos.

Recently, people in Da Lat and tourists were once again surprised when the wall was once again adorned with colorful floral patterns. Many believe this is yet another case of vandalism.
However, recently, the Windmill Bakery officially spoke out about the wall and shared a rather interesting story. It's the love story of a young man who likes to paint graffiti. His girlfriend would accept his marriage proposal if he painted bird of paradise flowers in every place they visited or where they shared a special memory. The young man contacted the Windmill Bakery and shared the meaning of the flower and their love story.

"When the Windmill Bakery received the young man's request, they were very interested in this sweet story and wanted to connect the young man and woman, so they agreed to let them paint Bird of Paradise flowers on the Golden Wall," - Windmill Bakery shared.

Many people were delighted by this love story and supported the bakery in giving the wall a new look. However, quite a few people felt regretful that the yellow wall – a popular photo spot and arguably an icon of Da Lat – was gone. Contacted by reporters, the owner of the Cối Xay Gió bakery stated that the Bird of Paradise flower wall would be preserved for a while and then repainted.
