In the joyful atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, not only accommodation establishments but also many restaurants and eateries located on the central streets of the city have proactively made significant adjustments to their operating hours, demonstrating solidarity and a high sense of responsibility towards this momentous event. These changes aim not only to facilitate the city's celebration but also to provide the best possible experience for residents and tourists during these meaningful holidays.
For example, on Han Thuyen Street (District 1), a street with many famous restaurants, Nhan Restaurant announced that it will remain open throughout the holiday period, but with adjustments to its opening hours. Specifically, on April 27th, April 30th, and May 1st, the restaurant will start serving later than usual, from 2 PM or 5 PM depending on the day, and will temporarily not accept reservations on these three peak days. Similarly, Au Parc Saigon Restaurant (23 Han Thuyen Street) also announced that it will close earlier at 7:30 PM on April 22nd and 25th, and will only open after 3 PM on April 27th and 30th. Propaganda Bistro (21 Han Thuyen Street) will also apply similar operating hours during these days.

The 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country is a historically significant event, and small adjustments such as temporarily closing or changing the operating hours of businesses are being voluntarily and responsibly supported by the people and organizations, with the desire to contribute to the success of this momentous occasion. Many people have chosen to enjoy an early dinner at hotels or other restaurants, then move to central areas such as Nguyen Hue pedestrian street or the Independence Palace area to continue immersing themselves in the vibrant and lively festive atmosphere.
Not only accommodation establishments, but many restaurants located on the central streets have also adjusted their operating hours to suit the city's celebration plans.
On April 30th, the official commemoration ceremony will take place at 6:30 AM on Le Duan Street (District 1). After passing the main platform at the Independence Palace, the marching contingents will move in four different directions, heading to assembly points at Tao Dan Park, Bach Dang Wharf Park, Hoa Lu Stadium, and Le Van Tam Park. Simultaneously, a 21-gun salute will resound at Bach Dang Wharf Park, and in the sky, formations of airplanes, helicopters, and fighter jets will simultaneously perform aerial displays.
All of these restaurants shared with customers that the adjustments were made to "support and celebrate the city's parade."
To help ensure traffic safety during the parade and to optimize service for tourists during the holidays, many cafes and restaurants located on streets in District 1, especially in the vicinity of the Independence Palace, have proactively adjusted their operating hours. In particular, to allow tourists to conveniently enjoy drinks while watching the parade, many cafes with prime locations have become ideal destinations.
Restaurants and accommodations are creating opportunities for tourists to freely experience activities during the April 30th holiday.
Visitors can choose from cafes located in the Nguyen Hue apartment building (District 1) with panoramic views, or familiar establishments such as Phe La (Phan Chu Trinh Street, District 1), Starbucks (Nguyen Thi Nghia Street, District 1), Okkio Coffee (Le Loi Street, District 1), Katinat (Nguyen Thi Nghia Street, District 1), Nagocha Matcha (Le Lai Street, District 1), Three O'clock (Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, District 3), or Linh Cafe (Truong Dinh Street, District 1)... All these adjustments and preparations demonstrate the thoughtfulness and dedicated service spirit of the city's business community, contributing to a complete and meaningful holiday for residents and tourists.
