Angkor Wat is a famous temple complex in Cambodia and the largest religious monument in the world. Every year, Angkor Wat welcomes about 2 million foreign tourists. Therefore, as more and more international visitors take and post nude and revealing photos here online, affecting the sanctity, sacredness and reputation of the temple, the government has implemented a policy of absolutely banning the act of taking photos to "show off any sensitive parts" here.

Accordingly, companies, journalists, and photographers who want to take nude art photos must clearly present their ideas and purposes to the Angkor Wat Temple Protection and Management Agency called Apsara and work under the supervision of security guards. As for independent tourists, they will not be given any concessions because, according to an Apsara spokesman who was interviewed by the newspaper "The Cambodia Daily", "Some people have taken nude photos and used them for films, books, and leaflets, which has had a very negative impact on the image of Angkor Wat".
From January 1, 2016, Angkor Wat temple will open 2 hours earlier, that is, from 5:30 to help visitors watch the spectacular sunrise.
In addition to the above changes, the relic management board has also just announced a code of conduct for visitors to limit the situation where thousands of people behave inappropriately in the temple grounds each year and it is posted right outside the door as a warning.
