The photo series was taken by Thanh Dat on the last New Year's Day in Tien Giang.

The photo series of the Western flower fields was taken by Thanh Dat on the occasion of the recent New Year when he visited his hometown. This flower field is located next to Highway 50, passing through Thanh Tri Commune, Go Cong Tay District, Tien Giang Province. From Ho Chi Minh City, you can follow Highway 50 to get there.
Stopping in the West during the days before Tet, don't just drift on the river at the floating markets, but also visit the flower villages to sightsee and take pictures.
"Currently, from the 10th to the 20th of December is the peak time of the Tet flower season here. Gardeners will actively take care of the flowers, and the flowers will begin to bloom and prepare to be exported to the provinces and Ho Chi Minh City from the 20th to the 23rd of the lunar calendar," Thanh Dat shared.
The flowers here are cared for by the hands of diligent farmers to bloom in time for Tet, from there they are transported to Saigon and all the provinces of the South to serve the flower-playing needs of the people during the Lunar New Year. This is also the time when people from all over the world come to buy flowers and travel.
Every time Tet comes, the famous flower villages in the West are brilliant, blooming with color and fragrance.
The gardeners here mainly grow celosias, chrysanthemums, yellow chrysanthemums, and marigolds. The flowers here are mainly exported wholesale to traders to transport to neighboring provinces, especially Ho Chi Minh City, the rest are also sold to local people.
