Countries and regions that have had their travel bans lifted include Albania, North Macedonia, Serbia, Lebanon, the US, as well as the Chinese territories of Taiwan, Macau and Hong Kong.
Earlier, on June 11, EU countries agreed to ease travel restrictions this summer, allowing fully vaccinated visitors to avoid testing or quarantine and expanding the list of areas in the EU considered safe.

The new rules come as more than 25% of adults in the EU have been fully vaccinated and over 1 million people in the EU have received a Covid-19 Digital Certificate.
Many countries that were once Covid-19 hotspots in Europe are reopening, such as France, Spain, Greece, Portugal, and Italy.
The European Parliament has recently voted overwhelmingly in favour of the EU Digital Covid-19 Certificate - a travel document that will allow travellers to travel freely across borders within the bloc from early July.
The 27 EU member states have been without a unified travel or border policy for months. But that appears to be being addressed by vaccination certificates. These certificates contain a QR code with high security features that will allow people to travel between European countries without having to go through quarantine or undergo testing upon arrival. Several EU countries have already started using the system, including Spain, Germany, Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark and Poland. The rest are expected to start using it on July 1.
