The first stop on this year's Tet market tour at the Metropole Hanoi Hotel is the tram "station" located on Le Phung Hieu Street, modeled after an old tram.
Each hotel lobby is decorated as a different tram stop of old Hanoi with miniature models of Dong Xuan market, Hanoi's Old Quarter and the historic Long Bien bridge.

Metropole Tet Market has the participation of more than 15 famous brands with diverse products, serving the needs of Tet shopping from Tet jams, high-quality organic foods, handicrafts, wine, tea and premium beer to high-end fashion such as Valenciani, Le Thanh Hoa, SHE, Bonpoint, Da Loc, C-Brewmaster, Dai Nam Thai Y Vien, Fargreen, Orfarm, Nature Queen, Viet Culture, Vivy handicraft, Three tree jewerly, Huong jewerly and Liti Florist. Not only embarking on a time travel, visitors can also join a taste adventure with Hanoi Old Quarter cuisine such as pho, bun cha and banh cuon.
In particular, many traditional Tet activities will take place at the market:
- Saturday, January 26, from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m., artisan Nguyen Duc Toan from the traditional craft village of Thanh Oai district will instruct on how to wrap banh chung.
- Saturday, January 26, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm and Sunday, January 27, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, flower artist Liti will guide you on flower arrangement for Tet.
- Sunday, January 27, from 1 pm to 4 pm, famous female artist Van Duong Thanh will guide you in drawing Tet paintings.
Metropole Tet Market will be open to visitors and shoppers from 11am to 8pm daily, from January 26 to January 31, 2019.
