After going through selection rounds from regions both domestically and internationally, in late July, 40 contestants of the Miss Vietnamese Identity Global pageant gathered at FLC Quy Nhon to participate in the world semi-finals. At this event, the judging panel selected three outstanding contestants who won the special awards: Miss Photogenic, Miss Beach, and Miss Talent.
Following the world semi-final, contestant Abby Thien My Tang was unable to continue her journey to conquer the Miss Vietnam National Identity 2016 crown due to health reasons. Therefore, the remaining 39 contestants traveled from Quy Nhon to Thanh Hoa to continue their beauty and talent competition, with the judges selecting the most outstanding face worthy of representing Vietnamese beauty and integrating with the world.
The Grand Finale is a crucial moment to honor the winner of the competition – the first ever Miss Vietnamese Identity Global.

The grand finale of the Miss Vietnamese Identity Global pageant promises to be a colorful artistic evening featuring beloved domestic artists such as Duc Tuan, Hien Thuc, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Ai Phuong, and singer Huyen Anh. In particular, the Ionah Show, choreographed by Tran Ly Ly, will be an intriguing surprise of the final night.
The appearance of Duc Tuan's warm, deep voice on stage with the song "Want to Hear the Sound of Waves" is arguably a highly anticipated performance. According to the simulation, his performance, combined with effects from dancers holding white silk ribbons and a model of a sailboat on stage, will recreate a space of blue sea, golden sand… blending with the real scenery and the sound of waves crashing on the shore.

Also during the final night, Noo Phuoc Thinh, the singer currently sitting in the coach's chair on The Voice Kids 2016, will liven up the atmosphere with two songs: Wanna be in Love (composed by Hoang Nhat Huy) and Wanna be a star (composed by Nguyen Hai Phong).

Singer Hien Thuc will appear on the show with the song "I Am a Star". The melody of this song will resonate as a glorious welcome for the top contestants and especially for the beauty queen who wins the prestigious crown.

Additionally, the final night will feature singer Ai Phuong performing the song "I See Yellow Flowers on Green Grass." Along with the graceful dance moves of the dancers, Ai Phuong's expressive and captivating voice will bring audiences new and exciting emotions amidst the gentle melodies and waves of Sam Son.
With the vibrant song "Beautiful Vietnam," Ai Phuong will transport viewers to a youthful and energetic Vietnam. Meanwhile, the song "Hello Vietnam" will evoke a deeper emotion. Ai Phuong's voice will whisper the words of a woman far from her homeland, sharing wonderful memories of the country's scenery and people.
With songs still focusing on themes of homeland and country, singer Kieu Anh will remind listeners of the Vietnamese language, the language of the land and water, the language spoken from the first words of children to the twilight years of old age for all Vietnamese people.

One of the highlights of the performances is the Ionah Show - a comprehensive entertainment program combining various art forms such as dance, drama, modern circus, hip hop, visual arts, music, special effects, and lighting.
The segment chosen for the final performance is "The Green Forest Dance." This segment will recreate a festive dance scene from a Carnaval in the forest, where many characters, exotic plants, birds, trees, and flowers dance together in a single dance. According to the show's producers, with the dazzling and spectacular stage at FLC, this segment will certainly showcase its vibrant beauty.

The final night of the Miss Vietnamese Identity Global pageant will take place on August 7th at the FLC Sam Son Beach & Golf Resort complex (Thanh Hoa).
