Hue Festival 2024 continues to be a unique cultural activity, attractive because of its traditional, impressive and humane nature, turning people and tourists into creative and enjoyable subjects. Not only are there typical art programs, representing the imprints of many domestic and international cultures for tourists to participate in, but there are also royal festivals, folk festivals... that have been painstakingly recreated, preserved or new festivals that are in line with trends, meeting the enjoyment needs of the public.
Hue Festival 2024 is organized according to a four-season orientation, exploiting a series of festivals throughout the year.
On the afternoon of May 9, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VHTTDL) jointly held an international press conference to introduce Hue Festival 2024 and Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024.
At the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, said: "Over 24 years of organizing the Hue Festival, we have achieved outstanding achievements, creating momentum to stimulate tourism, preserve culture and develop socio-economy. In the effort to turn Thua Thien Hue into a typical national and international Festival city of Vietnam, Hue Festival 2024 continues to be a unique cultural activity, attractive because of its traditional, impressive and humane nature, bringing people and tourists to become both creative and enjoyable subjects."

Accordingly, Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Deputy Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2024 shared with the press that the new point in the Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 is to focus on exploiting and using most effectively the works and architecture in Hue Imperial City, especially the space of Kien Trung Palace - the most unique palace in Hue Imperial City. Festival series throughout 4 seasons at Hue Festival 2024
The four-season-oriented Hue Festival 2024 will continue to exploit festival chains throughout the year, gradually building a new festival program system.
Spring Festival - "Spring of the Ancient Capital" (January - March) is highlighted by royal Tet activities, traditional Tet cultural space and extremely rich and unique folk festivals, attracting the response and participation of tourists.
Summer Festival - "Shining Imperial City" (April - June) with the highlight of Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 contributes to introducing and promoting towards building Hue to truly become a typical Festival city of Vietnam.
Hue Festival 2024 will take place for 6 days and nights from June 7 to June 12, 2024.
Autumn Festival - "Hue in Autumn" (July - September) focuses on the Mid-Autumn Festival Program with Hue Lantern Festival 2024, combining street Lion - Lion - Dragon performances, displays, installations, lantern processions, traditional Mid-Autumn Festival experiences, introducing the beauty of Vietnamese Mid-Autumn Festival culture.
Winter Festival - "Winter of Hue" (October - December) highlights Hue Music Week 2024 and ends with the Countdown Program to say goodbye to Hue Festival 2024 - welcome the new year 2025.

The highlight of Hue Festival 2024 is the Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 with the theme "Cultural heritage with integration and development" taking place from June 7 to June 12, 2024.
Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 promises to bring participants new and unique experiences of culture, history and art, a gathering place for attractive performances by typical domestic and international artists, introducing royal court music and dance and unique folk melodies; high-quality traditional and contemporary art programs of 8 countries from continents taking place every night on stages at Kien Trung Palace, Thai Binh Lau, Thieu Phuong Garden (Hue Imperial City); Quoc Hoc stele community stage, 3/2 park and throughout Thua Thien Hue province.

Hue Festival Week 2024 Opening Program: at 8:00 p.m. on June 7, 2024, held for the first time at Kien Trung Palace, opening a series of exciting activities of Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024. The art program will become sparkling and shining with the support of modern technology such as Laser projection, Led Matrix, Hologram, 3D Mapping.
The "Cultural Colors" street festival on the afternoons of June 8 and June 10, 2024, exploits Hue's cultural heritage, the cultures of regions and countries around the world, creating a colorful artistic resonance, stirring up the space stretching across many streets, bringing a joyful and bustling atmosphere, serving tourists and people.

The music program “Dialogue Trinh Cong Son - Love Found” is hosted by the Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with musician Trinh Cong Son's family and Bamboo Artists Agency, taking place at 6:00 p.m. on June 9 at Dien Kien Trung stage (Hue Imperial City).
